Cranial is a mind and body practice, rooted soundly in science and spirit, offering a beautiful space of deep healing, rest and restoration. Cranial sessions are a space of awareness, stillness and safety which facilitate the possibility for the body to unwind and let go of the “noise” that obscures the present moment experience.
Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapists believe that health is never lost no matter what. We use our ability and training to identify ways in which the nervous system is not functioning optimally and our awareness of the “always available health” in the body to assist the system in bringing itself back into balance.
‘Noise’ or blockages are often accumulated undigested experience held in the tissues and nervous system which create tension, and over time, physical and mental dis-ease and illness. Many modern day mental and physical illnesses are symptoms and consequences of nervous system dys-regulation, and BCST in one of the many modalities that can support co and self regulation and well being.
Within a biodynamic cranial session, our body gets a chance to physically and energetically realign, and the nervous system is supported into more equilibrium and balance. Health comes to the foreground…. is felt in the tissues….the breath can deepen…the mind can relax, unwind, come to a stillness that is calm yet engaged.
We are listened to, appreciated and witnessed very deeply.
BCST is a healing art and discipline centred in mindfulness, appreciation, gentleness and acceptance. It creates time and space to honour the creative life process and intelligence in everything. In this model, both health and ‘unwanted’ symptoms are part and parcel of the same on-going amazing, wonder-full and creative evolution of dynamic health, intelligence, stillness and creative possibilities of a system exploring the life process.
In being a friend to ourselves and each other – accepting and appreciating everything as a resourceful and creative response to life experience, we align with and support the life energy. We can engage with our experience with curiosity, calm equilibrium and spaciousness – which opens us up to life and therefore change.
When we offer this curious and compassionate presence….respecting and honouring the life within…it’s adaptions and intelligence….caring for it and broadening our awareness to spaciously incorporate possibility – our beings respond very positively!

Testimonials
“Your perception, sensitivity, and skilful care comes as much from the heart as from very real intelligence and training. This makes for great understanding of your clients and their conditions. Apart from a real benefit felt after a BCST treatment by you- a feeling of somewhat greater harmony and balance – there is a feeling of social wellbeing too. I find these sessions and my work with you very special”.

“Elise was a delight to work with, and she created a professional and relaxing environment to do her healing work with our employees. We received glowing reviews from the employees who saw her and have already had requests to host another cranial sacral day with Elise. Via would be thrilled to invite her back in the future, and we would be thrilled to recommend her services to other organizations.”
