Professional background

With a deep love of nature, I came to my psychotherapy practice by way of the visual and performing arts and meditation. I am a registered psychotherapist (MBACP), with 15 years of experience in the healing arts (biodyanmic cranial sacral therapy, yoga), addiction recovery and somatic psychotherapy.

In my career as a therapist I have worked with a varied demographic in internship, private practice and consultancy; in settings from clinics to schools, domestic violence and addiction and trauma treatment recovery centres, including Red Horse; Khiron Clinincs; Sanctuary Psychiatric Health; Downsview Special Needs School; Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Non Violence in both N. America and England.

Yoga, Equine Facilitated Therapy and Somatic Psychotherapy; and the philosophies that these systems originate from; form a set of practices that I am very grateful to keep on both practicing, learning from and sharing with others in one to one, group and corporate settings.
